What’s this website about?
The ASC (Alexa Speech Configurator) is a combination of PC software and a unique on line secure server
that connects directly to the Amazon voice services. Together they allow you to use your Alexa devices in
ways thought to be impossible. Creating Dynamic content Alexa skills that allow you to repeatedly upload
new phrases and responses directly to your skill and to control your PC via voice and fully control virtually
any Windows applications, mouse moves & menu selections. There’s also limitless potential to create
business services where you create the skill and then deploy it to other businesses in your area, nationally
or even globally.
How is it funded ?
Servers are expensive to run but there will be a ‘FREE’ tier for users to get to grips with all of these
features without charge, then when you want to expand the features or start your own business around
the features available, there will then be a choice of plans to subscribe to.
Is there a user forum ?
There is a Facebook group named, Alexa beyond switches where users can exchange ideas & share views
etc.

Was messing around with a Broadlink RM Pro and can see that it would be really easy to set up ....
‘Alexa new code’ with a response of ‘Press the button now Jez’, the IR or RF is then captured and
Alexa responds again with ‘What command would you like to use with this code’, I might say ‘Turn
on surround sound’ all is then stored in a local directory of IR/RF codes. Reckon it’s got potential !
Must try and get a full certified Skill completed so that users have the option of simply calling up
a skill as opposed to having to create their own ... we’ll see how it goes.
